WRP is looking for a talented Mid-Level Video Editor with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through visual media. The ideal candidate will have experience in resizing, localizing, and editing pre-existing video content, creating engaging cut-downs, and ensuring high-quality outputs that align with our vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Editing: Edit and enhance pre-existing video content, ensuring a polished and professional final product.
- Resizing Videos: Adjust video dimensions and formats to fit various platforms and requirements, maintaining quality and visual integrity.
- Localization: Adapt and localize video content for different audiences, including adding subtitles, translating text, and modifying graphics as needed.
- Cut Downs: Create concise cut-down versions of longer videos, emphasizing key messages and maintaining viewer engagement.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in all edits, including checking for consistency in branding, audio levels, and overall quality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the content and marketing teams to understand project goals and deliver videos that meet their specifications.
- Feedback Integration: Receive and implement feedback from clients/leads to refine edits and enhance the final product.
- File Management: Organize and maintain video assets and project files to ensure efficient workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-4 years of experience in video editing, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in video editing software.
- Strong understanding of video formats, resolutions, and compression methods.
- Experience in localization processes and tools is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
